2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date, Pictures, MPG  –  The Bolt got a redesign for 2026, including a new hood, front and rear fascias and new exterior lighting, and the Bolt EUV shares all of it. The Bolt’s interior also got a major makeover and it’s miles ahead of the previous design, which was extremely plastic-heavy and used an odd mid-air centre stack.  2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date

In contrast, this interior is handsomely conventional, with soft-touch materials and just enough brightwork – although I’d prefer less of the gloss-black finish, which is nothing more than a magnet for dust and fingerprints. Both EUV trims get 17-inch wheels, with a fancier design on the Premier. My tester was equipped with an optional panoramic sunroof, and with a $495 coat of Ice Blue Metallic paint.

Interior and Exterior

The Bolt EUV’s front-seat legroom is identical to that of the Bolt – and both are more generous than that of the Nissan Leaf, Kia Niro EV, or Hyundai Kona EV – but those in the rear seats get 976 mm (38.4 in) of legroom, versus 915 mm (36 in) in the Bolt.2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Interior

The seats are supportive on longer drives, and the Premier includes heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. The ride is smooth and comfortable as well. My only complaint is that a vehicle topping $40,000 should include dual-zone climate control, not single-zone.

Automatic temperature control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an 8.2-inch programmable gauge cluster, a 10.2-inch infotainment screen, a cargo privacy cover, and heated front seats and steering wheel are among the amenities available on both trim levels. 2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date

Rain-sensing wipers, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and ambient lighting are additional features added to the Premier. For an additional $2,495, the highest trim level may be equipped with hands-free capability for the adaptive cruise.

Engine and Performance

The Bolt EUV’s electric motor, which only powers the front wheels and is powered by a 65-kWh battery, can produce 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. When you ask for rapid acceleration or interstate passing, it’s shockingly spirited and will really make the tires screech if you pound the throttle. It boasts good daily driving qualities and smooth, linear acceleration under little power, but it isn’t meant to be a sports car.  2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Specs

2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Fuel Economy

The Bolt EUV has been officially rated by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) for 397 kilometers on a full charge. Naturally, a wide range of factors influence real range. The gauge on the Bolt EUV estimates the maximum range under ideal conditions and the lowest range under unfavorable ones.

Estimates for energy consumption while driving are 16.8 kWh/100 km in cities, 20.1 kWh/100 km on highways, and 18.3 kWh/100 km in mixed driving. A public DC fast-charger can provide around 160 km of range in 30 minutes, but a 240-volt charger will take nearly seven hours to fully charge the battery. 2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date

2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Safety Features

The standard features on both trim levels include ten airbags, which automatic high-beam control, lane-keep support, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic warning, immediate front slowing down, and the high-definition backup camera that comes standard on all new cars. Moreover, adaptive cruise control and surround-view monitoring are included with the Premier.  2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date

2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Price and Release Date

The Bolt EUV and its pricing range of $41,998 to $45,498 compare well to its competitors even without its available incentives. All prices include freight. A Nissan Leaf costs between $41,000 to $49,698; a Kia Niro EV costs between $46,790 and $56,490; and a Hyundai Kona EV costs between $46,224 and $51,324.

Although the battery and electrical propulsion components are covered for eight years/160,000 km, the Bolt EUV has a complete warranty of three years/60,000 km. I really like the 2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. It’s fun to drive, comfortable, has good range, and its controls are easy to use. It’s a great little car for downtown commuting but can handle a day’s drive out beyond the city limits, and it’s intelligently priced in comparison to its competition. If your plans are for plug-in, this one should definitely be on your list. 2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Release Date
