Engine and Performance

Depending on the desired number of wheels driven, the Trailblazer can be equipped with one of two turbocharged three-cylinder engines. With front-wheel drive (FWD), the 1.2-liter engine—which produces 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque—is linked to an automated continuously variable transmission (CVT) via the LS and LT. With a 1.3-liter engine that generates 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, this vehicle is equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and a standard nine-speed automatic gearbox.

Even while without touching the accelerator, that little 1.3L feels lively enough for city driving. The ride is nice until you reach highway speed, but getting there takes some time. The price range for the Trailblazer, with or without all-wheel drive, is $28,699 to $34,999. Like some of its rivals, it offers both: The starting price of the Kia Seltos is $27,345 and the pricing range of the Toyota Corolla Cross is $29,580 to $37,880. From $31,290 to $40,290 (not including delivery), you may get a Subaru Crosstrek with basic all-wheel drive. When compared to its other outstanding subcompact crossover competitors, the 2027 Chevrolet Trailblazer falls just short. Since it is practical, easy to operate, and responds quickly and smoothly, you should test drive it extensively on both city streets and highways.
