2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Images, Configurations, Dimensions – The 2026 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe will include the track-ready Z06. The Z06 lifts the performance threshold for the C8 Camaro Coupe with a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 670 horsepower and a European exhaust sound. The Z06 also includes a slew of other performance enhancements, making it an American supercar.
The only other notable update is a special 70th Anniversary model, which is intended to celebrate the Camaro Coupe’s 70th birthday. It will only be offered on the top-tier 3LT trim levels for the coupe and convertible body types. Z06 Camaro Coupes will start on sale this summer, after the basic 2026 Stingray. We foresee extremely limited availability.

2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Redesign and Update Plan
Exterior and Interior
Inside the redesigned Camaro Coupe we should see a few updates and touches, but since the interior was heavily refreshed in 2024, we’re not sure what changes are in store. We are expecting the Camaro Coupe to come with all the latest technology including USB-C ports, Bose audio speakers, HD Satellite radio, Bluetooth, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We expect the large SUV to come with no less than a 12-inch touchscreen and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, though a large one-piece screen that incorporates both isn’t out of the question. We may even see the introduction of a passenger screen as standard. 2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Images
The standard Camaro Coupe is well-equipped in terms of technology. The sports vehicle has a standard 8-inch touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, ten audio speakers, two USB ports, and Bluetooth. Navigation costs an additional $1,795 on the basic 1LT trim. The 2LT trim level includes a Bose 14-speaker stereo system, navigation, a head-up display, and a wireless charging pad as standard.

The standard infotainment system for all Camaro Coupe models includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen, navigation, two USB ports, built-in Google apps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system. A 14-speaker Bose system and wireless charging are standard starting with the 2LT and 2LZ trims.
Engine and Performance
With the introduction of the Z06 model for 2026, the Camaro Coupe is now available with two engines. Both are V8s, but they’re incredibly different from one another in terms of performance. Opting for the available dual-mode performance exhaust system that’s a part of the Z51 package with the standard 6.2-liter V8 engine brings 5 more hp and 5 more lb-ft of torque. 2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Images
2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Fuel Economy
The Stingray is EPA-rated at 16 miles per gallon city, 25 mpg highway, and 19 combined. The E-Ray’s hybrid powerplant is designed to boost performance without using more gas, and it certainly succeeds in that regard. EPA ratings are nearly identical to the Stingray’s. The Z06 trails the pack at 12/21/15 mpg (city/highway/combined). 2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Images
2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Safety Features
The base trims for all models carry adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, a rearview camera mirror, and automatic emergency braking. Subsequent trims also provide a front-view camera, rear parking sensors, a head-up display, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. 2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Images
2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Price and Release Date
Since the 2026 Camaro Coupe is getting a total redesign we expect it to be more expensive than the current model on sale. We expect the Camaro Coupe to start with an MSRP of around $60,000. Current Camaro Coupe pricing ranges from $56,095 to $76,795. The Chevrolet Camaro Coupe competes against other large three-row SUVs such as its sibling Chevy Suburban, the Cadillac Escalade, the Ford Expedition, the GMC Yukon, and the Toyota Sequoia.
The base Camaro Coupe comes with 19-inch wheels at the front, 20-inch wheels at the back, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, heated exterior mirrors, and a removable roof panel. Interior features include eight-way power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, and GT1 bucket seats. There’s only one major package for the 1LT trim. It’s the Z51 Performance Package that costs $6,345. It brings high-performance suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, a high-performance exhaust system, A rear spoiler, summer-only tires, and heavy-duty cooling. For track enthusiasts, this is a must-have. 2026 Chevy Camaro Coupe Images
